Biography

My name is Vicky Wery. I have been working as a teacher for 31 years. I was born in Spain and grew up in Central America. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education with a major in mathematics, from the Seventh-day Adventist University of Central America in Costa Rica. I have experience teaching in high school, middle school, elementary school, and preschool.

My husband and I have four children, one of them is already a nurse and three of them are in college. I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, rock climbing, simply watching a family show on T.V. and spending time with my family and friends. I am fluent in Spanish.

I like being a teacher. It is a privilege to teach young minds and guide them to become successful, responsible adults, who are respectful to God as well as man. One of my goals is to teach students not only academics, but useful things they can use for life, like cooking and gardening.

Thank you for joining us on this journey to excellence!
